Carpal Tunnel Syndrome:<\/h4><p>It is a pain in the wrist. Comes second after low back pain as the most common musculoskeletal problems during pregnancy. Usually bilateral. Pain during sleep (awakening pain).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c62e1ca sc_fly_static elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c62e1ca\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4>2. De Quervain or Mums thumb &#8220;Thumb pain&#8221;:<\/h4><p>Bilateral thumb pain usually happens to mothers postpartum. Bring two containers<\/span><span>2. Fill one with cold water and the other with hot water (NOT scalding)<\/span><span>3. Immerse your hand in the hot water for 30 seconds, then put it in the cold water for 30 seconds (alternate for 3 minutes).<\/span><span><br><\/span><span>This will reduce the swelling and therefore reduce pain. <\/span><span><b>Notice regarding the contrast bath:<\/b> you must finish with cold water.
